In this 6 session workshop, you will create an over–the-range or sink backsplash which can be framed and hung, screwed to the wall, or done on mesh for installation.  We will provide either a Hardibacker substrate or fiberglass mesh on which to work (up to 20” x 24”), tools (or you can bring your own, if you prefer), adhesive, and grout.  You will provide the design and your own materials, i.e. tile, shells, stones, found objects, etc.  If you prefer, you can purchase tiles from TMS at an additional fee of $60 for a backsplash up to 20” x 24”. Prior consultation with the instructor is required before hand to discuss design, materials, dimensions, and installation preference.   Larger substrates will incur an additional fee depending on the size.
